Who Lights the Lamps

Behind a coven of invented witches there is a small crew of people who write them, tune them and keep the porch light on. Hexxx SF went live in November 2026, and not one of its sixteen witches is a person.

What we made

We wrote 16 adult women who practise small, comic magic in San Francisco's wards, then gave each a grimoire page and a favour to ask. The product is the asking. A session is you, a witch, a bargain and the weather.

About the name

The address spells its first word with extra letters, which is a joke only in our reading and not an invitation to anything crude. Hexxx SF here means hex plus the city, and nothing more. Our sixteen witches, their pages and every line you read are our own work, and we are not connected to any other site with a similar spelling.

What the lamplighters will not do

• Offer real spells, real predictions or advice for your life.
• Let any story put a charm on a person's will.
• Sell what you say in a thread or show it to an advertiser.
• Let a character under 18 into any story, however it is dressed.

Sending word

Letters to the footer address are read by a human. Complaints, corrections and ideas for a seventeenth witch are all fair game.
